Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Assembly Teams operate assigned automated assembly machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U. S. citizen or national, U. S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U. S., or person admitted into the U. S. as a refugee

  • To understand and work to TE Connectivity documented departmental fundamental rules and company procedures.
  • To maintain required standards in the assembling of connectors whilst ensuring good house keeping disciplines.
  • To reach the required standard of times as documented in the process routing. To achieve departmental efficiency target.
  • To become self disciplined and able to work with the minimum of supervision.
  • To become a member of the team and work harmoniously with others in order to ensure the smooth running of the department.
  • To carry out any other reasonable task as may be requested from time to time.
  • To observe Health and Safety regulations as laid down in company procedures and government legislation.
  • To ensure all assembly tooling is in good working order.
  • To maintain time and attendance to company standards.
  • To ensure work is carried out in the relevant order or as directed by supervision.

  • Expereince Required

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Must have a practical mechanical aptitude which can be demonstrated.
    • Assembly experience is desirable.
    • Must be able to follow instructions.
    • Be able to read and accurately interpret drawings.
    • A good communicator who can advise on process technical improvements.
    • Be reliable and willing to work additional hours when requested.
    • Must be fully aware of the quality levels that must be achieved.

    The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
