ASSEMBLY OPERATOR III

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

After the specified training period, associate shall be responsible for performing the weld, assembly and adjust operations of the relay assembly cell in accordance with the applicable operating procedures required for header, motor, and relay assembly in a production environment. Associates shall perform inspection functions as required using optical comparitors, micrometers and gauges per the applicable quality documents and chart he data thus generated on the relevant statistical process control (SPC) form, interpret the results and take appropriate action. Associate shall be able to work with small parts, tools, fixtures and microscopes. Requires excellent manual dexterity and hand eye coordination.

Responsible for his/her quality, productivity, and for maintaining a safe work area and will be required to notify the supervisor or lead person immediately when any of the aforementioned are in question.

Must be able to read and follow written instructions, perform basic math and understand average assembly drawings.

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U. S. citizen or national, U. S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U. S., or person admitted into the U. S. as a refugee

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
